My Afflation

I'm really putting myself out there for this one. I usually only post photos of myself here when I know I look good. I was given a sample of Covergirl's Smoky Shadowblast in Silver Sky  to try out ( http://cmp.ly/2 ). Now, I don't get out much to do "smoky eyes", but there was this fundraising dinner theater  for Josh's trip to Haiti that I thought I would glam up a bit for. I really appreciate that the CoverGirl Shadowblast came with instructions on the back of the package on how to create a "smoky eye" and I think I pulled it off. The one bad thing was that towards the end of the night, there was creasing and it looked really bad. Otherwise I loved it, quick and easy to put on, the applicator fits in a small bag for the inevitable touch-up, and that amazon ...

Everyday I see women doing their make-up on the train. Sometimes the transformation is quite amazing. I mean, they come on with nothing on their faces, and by the time their stop comes up, they have foundation, blush, eye shadow, and the kicker, eye-liner and mascara! I have enough trouble doing the eye stuff in my bathroom, no way I could do it on the train. And they do it all using those tiny little mirrors! Hats off to you ladies, you are simply amazing.
