My Afflation

4:55 PM And we're off! I'm flying out of Burbank for the first time ever and did not know that it was so old fashioned. Where's Perry Mason? (ok, so the last time I saw an airport like Burbank it was in a Perry Mason episode.) Boarding a plane on the tarmac, small terminal, and I got through security in less than 5 minutes, even though I had to go through the whole body check since I had no "government issued identification". ... Actually a nice change of pace from the hectic weekend. And i get to do it all over again in a month!

after throwing a temper tantrum about not being able to ride the rollercoaster she finally fell asleep. normally i hate the idea of her sleeping during the day, but I don't have to deal with her tonight :-D

So we're taking a bathroom break in Primm, NV and the kids see the roller coaster at Buffalo Bills and Joy pipes up how she wants to go on it with Josh. Then Tim mentions that he doesn't like rollercoasters unless he's the one driving. So joy pipes up, and says "Don't worry daddy, you ride and I'll do the driving".
