Nerd/Geek Fail

Last year I made it a goal that I would attend the San Diego Comic Con this year. It is only the biggest and best Con * EVAH *. So guess what? Today I am at work. Tomorrow I will be at work. This Saturday I have chores and errands to run. AND – despite being on twitter 24/7 (so it seems), I missed all the eBay auctions of Comic*Con passes.     Even Google taunts me today. Logo created by Jim Lee at DC Comics. So I will be watching the official stream, the stream and Facebook updates of all my friends … and wondering yet again why I couldn’t meet a simple goal. I was one of the lucky first five to write a comment on Mariah's interview post . So here goes: MH:1) If you were cremated where would you like to have your ashes spread? AH: Across the Pacific. Trite, I know, but I do so love the ocean. My favorite place is Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, so I would want them spread from there. From Laguna Beach MH: 2)What fashioned trend did you follow that was cool THEN but now looks ridiculous? AH: Scrunchy socks and pegged jeans. With Keds.'Nuff said. MH: 3) What would you try if you had no fear? AH: Swimming. Every time I go swimming I end up practically drowining. I sink like a rock, so I never venture past the 5 foot mark in a pool.
